Pilot G2

The Pilot G2 is a superbly-smooth writing rollerball featuring a retractable gel ink refill. The vividly-coloured ink is acid-free and archival-safe. The clear barrel features a comfortable rubber grip.

Ink: Roller

Types: Three sizes: 05 (Extra-Fine); 07 (Fine) and 10 (Broad). No medium? Fine is what most would call 'medium'; and Extra-Fine merely 'fine'.

Colours Available:
-Dark Red,
---the new 2008 colours -
Lime Green
Sky Blue
Hunter Green (very dark green)
Peacock Green (a nice intense blue-green)

Selling Points:
- Smooth grip
-Nice ink

Price: S$ 2.15(At most bookstores)

Our Ratings: 8.6/10

Thickness of ink causes smudges when our hands touch it. Also, ink seeps though thin papers. Not recommended for official documents.

I actually find the Pilot G2 tends to get a little spotty in the ink department with prolonged use. I have a lot of problems with the ink not coming out so smoothly after a few months, so I make a point never to use them. As far as Pilot pens go, the hi-tec c pens are much better.
